MSN Messenger 7.0 won't let me delete contact

Recently while cleaning old junk off the OS I found a name on my MSN Messenger list that I cannot delete.  When I right click on the name I get three choices.  1. Add to contacts.  2.  Move to allow list.  3.  Properties.  Properties is actually #4.  #3 is "delete" which is grayed out so it is not a choice.  I did a search of all files and folders and came up with nothing.  I went to the contacts list of MSN Mail and deleted it with no problem there.  A search of all files and folders came up with nothing.  Do I have to delete the program and reinstall?  Would that even work?  Don't know.

Any help from the many experts at the Dell forum would be greatly appreciated.
