Adobe Setup Problems
I have been using Adobe for several months and suddenly developed issues, resulting in the inability to create PDF files. The most recent problem is that the Adobe software is "unable to find Adobe PDF printer or Acrobat Distiller printer" when attempting to create PDF files. When trying to reinstall Adobe or run the repair mode, the following messages appears time after time: "Warning 20225 Adobe Acrobat Setup was unable to create a new item: Adobe PDF. The Adobe PDF Printer may be unavailable. GetLastError: The specified port is unknown."
After a long time on the phone with Adobe, and trying several things, nothing worked. Apparently there are some files missing on my computer. They directed me back to Dell to discuss with some vague instructions about asking about framedyn.dll files. I have sent a message to technical support, but wondering if there's someone who might be able to assist.
I am somewhat desperate.

If there are missing system files, it would be an Operating System issue, and you should be posting this on the applicable Operating System section of the forum.
Here is a Microsoft tech article I found by doing a search for "framedyn.dll" using google. This applies to Windows XP. You failed to include your Operating System in your post. If it's not XP, try doing another google search and you may find the instructions for other OS's.
