missing option "Enable Legacy Option ROMs" in BIOS setup

Hi,
I tried to do a dualboot on my new dell laptop XPS 15 7590 (intel i9 processor). I already changed the SATA settings to AHCI. I disabled secure boot, partitioned my disk and I have a bootable disk with Rufus. But in order to recognize my disk I needed to check "Enable Legacy Option ROMs" in my bios setup (Settings -> General -> Advanced Boot Options). Unfortunately this option is not there. Only the option "Enable UEFI Network Stack" is available.

Can someone help me how I should proceed with this problem?
Thanks in advance!

Dell XPS 15 7590 - 15.6" - Core i7 9750H - 16 GB RAM - 512 GB SSD

Class 3 Bios DOES NOT HAVE CSM and DOES NOT ALLOW windows XP/VISTA/7/8 or any 32 Bit software to be installed.

Does not Support GRUB or MSDOS or many thousands of versions of Linux or OS2 etc.

These systems past Skylake from 2016 are 64 bit only, Windows 10 only, UEFI only and GPT only.  There is no legacy or CSM or MBR booting EVER.

This also forces users to buy Microsoft Office 365 or Office 2019 because the earlier versions will not run and can no longer be purchased.

INTEL, AMD, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, etc all enforce this.  32 bit everything is no longer supported and will never be supported again.

Intel  Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) mechanism with legacy CSM support as an additional option. Intel intends to remove legacy BIOS  CSM support from UEFI by Jan 2020.   This is also when WINDOWS 7 is totally end of life.

class 3 no csmclass 3 no csm

Lenovo YOGA 730-13IKB 13.3" Laptop is not a Dell Product.

Legacy CSM and Legacy windows XP/VISTA/7 booting is no longer an option for any PC past skylake.  does not matter who you buy from.

All machines going forward are WIN10 only 64 bit only UEFI GPT booting only.

So not only is there no solution there never will be.

Hello speedstep,

We can use some help with new Dells and old Windows 10 32 bit applications.
Especially UEFI.
Can you help us directly?
Could be a paid engagement.
Do you know of someone who could?
Karl

New Systems past 6th Gen Skylake 2015 are 64 bit only Windows 10 only / UEFI GPT only.  Thats microsoft and INTEL and AMD and NVIDIA and and and. Last model to boot XP was optiplex 3040.  There is ONE and only One system that boots ALL windows and ALL OS including windows 10.  Optiplex GX620 tower with Pentium D 915 or higher and 4 gigs of ram which is max for this model.

Runs every OS from MSDOS to windows 10. So you better start hording these systems because they will NEVER be made again.

Request Denied FOREVER.  CSM IS GONE. Legacy IS GONE.  windows 3.11/95/98/ME/2000/XP/VISTA/7/8 GONE. MSDOS INT13 GONE.  32 bit NTVDM GONE.

Class 3 BIOS has NO 32 bit /CSM /legacy ever again.

No internal Drives will boot ATA or Legacy MBR EVER again. Master Boot Record and INT 13 are from 1981 MSDOS.

So no I cant help because what you are asking for is NOT EVER an option.

INTEL Started this in 2017 and ended it in 2020.
