From my research just now, it looks as though the data used to launch the session and populate the URL the browser uses is not contained in any flat file where you can modify it.
The information is being pulled from the repository database itself.
Yes, the information is kept in the repository, not in a file. Manually typing in the URL is your only workaround bar a uninstall/reinstall of StorageScope.

When I called support their suggestion was to uninstall and reinstall Storage Scope. Yikes!

Yesterday (wednesday) after a Microsoft Security Update to Internet Explorer 7, I can't open StorageScope through ECC Console anymore.
Are you experiencing this, please?
TIA,
cviniciusm.

Internet Explorer 7 does not support StorageScope - it only supports Performance Manager and Web Console.

ControlCenter Product Management have informed me that support for StorageScope on Internet Explorer 7 is provisionally scheduled for CC 6.2 (1H '09).
