CD or DvD burner?
I have an Inspiron 15 from the 5000 series. I want to know if it has a CD burner and, if so, how to burn music onto a CD to use in a car radio.

I have an Inspiron 15 from the 5000 series. I want to know if it has a CD burner and, if so, how to burn music onto a CD to use in a car radio.

Hi Tylerathon,
Virtually all PCs for the past several years have CD/DVD burners, so I'd be very surprised if your laptop doesn't. But to make sure, check device manager for the model of your drive and Google it.
In order to create an audio CD, you can use many applications, such as Windows Media Player or iTunes. Of course you'll need blank CD-R discs. I would not buy CD-RW, since they are less reliable in car stereos.
When you insert a blank CD, the operating system should recognize the blank disc and prompt you what you would like to do. Then follow the instructions from the links I provided above.
