Dell Optiplex 990 - Swap System Drives - Roll Back OS

Question

Hi Gang Happy Holidays! Is there anything about the Logic Board (or in the Bios) that would prevent someone from taking out a system drive (formatted with W10) and putting in (swapping) a different hard drive and formatting it with W7 Pro? And then returning the other drive (formatted with W10), or reformatting that drive again with a fresh install of W10?   Is that possible?  Thank You

I see no problem doing that.  Swapping drives would be the preferred method of doing that.
