Dell Monitor with Compaq computer
I just purchased a flat-screen Dell monitor to use with my Compaq computer. When I loaded the disc, the following came up on the screen: "Cannot display this video mode." What do I do to get the screen up & running? It shouldn't be this difficult to use a display monitor? Thanks for any help! Tammy

It sounds like your PC's video does not have the capability for the "native" screen resolution of the new monitor. If a lower screen resolution works OK, that would also say it's the screen resolution capability of the PC. This happens many times with new LCD monitors and Video cards that will not support the high resolution of the monitor.
