10/100Mbp Fast Ethernet Desktop Adapter (D-Link DFE-530TX+)

I have installed the card in a empty pci slot but it won't light up(2 lights) and won't work with the cable to the router(TalkAmerica)Paradyn.  It will work thru a usb port but not the lan.  I have try this with 2 different cards and 2 different cables.  Dell wants me to purchase from them a different card but if I have trouble with that they will charge me for tech support. Which is outrages. I can only tell you that I get media disconnect.  HELP!

Did you install the drivers for the NIC card?  Is it compatibile with Windows ME?

The drivers are install.  D-link shows the card works with me.

It's not working USB. I would suggest uninstalling the deivice and rebboting letting Windows find the device and then adding the driver.

Thank you all for the help.  Come to find out it was the router, which TalkAmerica replaced with out any problem.  It works beautifully now.  Thanks again!
