U2913WM Video rendering issue.
Hi
Just got this monitor and am quite satisfied with the product except when I play a video, a blue box appears above the video after a few seconds, which changes the color of the video to a more light/bluish quality. I will very much appreciate a solution to this problem. Thank you.

Hi Morten,
Request you to use the below link for manual and reset the monitor to factory settings:

Then you may use the below link and update video drivers for the system that you have connected the monitor to:
http://dell.to/QjjZDA
Also you can try connecting the monitor to a different laptop/ desktop and check if the same issue occurs.

Thank you very much for your response.
I have followed your instructions 100%, but the issue will unfortunately not go away.
I have tried to connect more computers, cables and operating systems Windows7(64bit) and Mac OSX 10.8.3, but all in vain.
I found this article thinklightly.com/.../dell-u2913wm-setup-3 (see comments by Adrian on March 7, 2013 at 9:27 am), this solves the problem, but i do not understand why?

Are you saying that changing to Game color mode fixed your issue?

Sorry for this late reply.
Yes setting to Game color mode fixed the problem. The other modes does have the "error".
