S2721DGFA, line of dimmed pixels at 60Hz refresh rate
Hello,
I just bought this monitor and during testing at home noticed some strange behavior and now I want to know if it's a problem of mine sample only or it's common issue of this model.
The issue is horizontal line of dimmed pixel all along the bottom of the screen (look photos below). Want to say that this issue is reproducible on all ports (both HDMI ports and DP) with any resolution up to 2560x1440 with refresh rate of 60 Hz. Tried with 3 different devices as image source and it's present. If I set the refresh rate 120, 144 or 165 Hz then it's ok.
Just want to make sure that if during the game with FreeSync enabled the fps drops below 60 FPS this dimmed line will not to be visible. And if it's firmware related issue, can it be updated? Thanks.

The Displays product team reviewed the case. The OP (original poster) was told that the line of dimmed pixels observed at 60Hz are normal. Their recommendation was to move from 60Hz to 120Hz or higher. They also stated that when using the S2721DGFA as shown on page 23, they could not "see" the line of dimmed pixels when set to 60Hz. They had to get way to close to the panel, like the OP showed in their pictures to see the line of dimmed pixels.
