Hi, Thanks for the reply but like I said previously, I had tried the factory reset button. I again tried it, but following your exact steps but to no avail. Customer support has been a mess because I don't have a service tag on my monitor. Any other ideas? There is a TV/HDTV switch on the Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable. What is yours set to?

Have you tried the Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable on a TV?

Have you tried the yellow composite video cable on the 2407?

Do you have a DVD player with component to try on the 2407 components?

Again, everything worked fine before and I didn't change anything prior to this mess. But to answer your questions. It's set to HD. I used my 360 for over a year on my CRT HDTV wit no problems. I've tried the yellow composite cable to no effect. I don't have a component DVD player.

* Power the monitor off
* Disconnect all cabling from the bottom and/or sides of the monitor (especially the power cord)
* Press and hold the monitor power button down for 5 seconds
* Reconnect only the monitor power cord and either the #1 blue VGA or #2 white DVI (not both)
* Power the monitor on
* The PC should already be on. The monitor should auto sense the #1 blue VGA or #2 white DVI. If it does not, press the Input Select button and change to #1 VGA or #2 DVI
* Download and install softMCCS
* Once installed, click Start- Programs- softMCCS- softMCCS
* Use the down arrow to choose the monitor
* Scroll down to Preset operations
* By Restore factory defaults, click the green Restore arrow
* The display will black out and then return
* By Restore factory luminance/contrast defaults, click the green Restore arrow
* By Restore factory color defaults, click the green Restore arrow
* Close the softMCCS box
* Reconnect the console to the monitor components
* Reconnect the game console to the monitor component
* Power on the game console
* Press the Input button and switch to #5 Component

Odd. I would still try to run softMCCS. I use it all the time on my 2407WFP with Windows XP.

Hello, I got to the step where you open softMCCS, but when I did, it did a hard reboot of my system. Puzzled, I rechecked all the connections but everything was fine. I went to my Component input and everything was back to normal! Now I'm just wondering if this was a permanent fix? Thanks! Vince

I tried all the steps listed here and later on with softMCCS.  My component was working last night and today, it's not.  Got my xbox360 hooked up to it and the screen is black but power and input 5 lights stay green.  So something is up, just don't know what.  Please help.
