recovery options on dell Latitude
Good morning,
perhaps someone can answer my question. I would like to buy a Dell Latitude 6540 and have found out the following statement in the configuration:
“Operating System Recovery Options: no media”.
It also says:
"Dell Backup and Recovery: Dell Backup and Recovery Basic"
I think this means that I will not get a recovery disk along with the system.
If so, I wonder how I can re-load the system in case I need it for whaterver reason (for example how can re-format the HD if I need it to?)
Thanks for any clarification you can provide on this !

Have a blank, 16 G or larger flash drive on hand when you receive the system. Use it with the DBaR utility to make a recovery image and put the flash drive in a safe place.
If the need to replace the hard drive or reload occurs, connect the drive, boot the system from it and in under 30 min you'll be back in business.

If you prefer you can also download Windows installation media in .iso format and use it to clean install:
