Transferring Palm Tungsten E2 from Dell Inspiron 1512 running Vista to Dell 17 running Windows 7

I have Palm Tungsten E-2 installed and working on my Dell Inspiron laptop running with Windows Vista and have recently purchased a new laptop Dell Inspiron 17 running on Windows 7. When I used the original CD that came with the Palm, it would not add a driver as it didn't recognize Windows 7. When I try and copy Palm from my old computer to new computer, it pastes only the icon shortcut.

Can anyone tell me how to find a driver online that will load on my new Windows 7, or a way to copy the full program from my Windows Vista to my new laptop?

It's time to use a different type of PDA - - the Tungsten E2 is not compatible with WIndows 7.

Easier said than done. Can I just copy the information such as addresses onto the laptop with Windows 7? Is there a way to do that?

Not if Windows 7 is 64-bit.  Some have reported the 32-bit Windows 7 version will work with Palm Desktop 6.2, but the 64 bit version will not.
