Inspiron 15 3000, slow Windows 10, install Windows 7?

Don't know where to post about Windows can't find anything in the forums. I have Windows 10 and need remote desktop daily. All of a sudden in the last week it is running slow. Other computers running Windows 7 no problem. Can't find a solution anywhere. So my question is, can I install Windows 7 on this laptop? I was told at the shop it will not run on it. Any help please?

Thanks!

Windows 10 performance issue should be posted on the Windows 10 board. There are 5 different Inspiron 15-3000 models with different specifications. We need to know your specific model to check for Windows 7 driver availability.

Dear Sir,

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series 3567 purchased 1 month back but my system is running really slow, it is pre-installed with Windows 10.

i am fed up with its performance despite i3 processor & 4GB RAM.

Please advice what should i do or Should i call for Dell Support so that my problem could be resolved.

Anything with a seventh or eighth generation CPU (7xxx and 8xxx parts) will not run Windows 7.  Even on 6th generation CPUs, a recent, system-specific build of 7 is required.

On this $249.99 entry level laptop, i3 is the slowest CPU offered on this model. 4GB ram is the bare minimum required for Windows 10. 8GB would be my minimum running Windows 10. Consider upgrading the ram to at least 8GB (two 4GB memory sodimm memory sticks, part 4YRP4). You could even go to 16GB (two 8GB memory sodimm memory sticks, part MKYF9). But based on that hardware currently installed, I am not sure if there is any "optimization" that can be done within Windows 10 to really speed it up. Ask the guys on the Windows 10 board.
