Screen replacement

Hi there! My brand new inspiron 5770 (17 inch) fell off my bed last week and the bottom left corner has a lighter tone to it. It’s only really noticeable when the brightness is all the way up but I have decided that I cannot live with it and want to replace it.

Is this the right replacement screen?

The size and resolution look right. Secondly, where is a good place to learn to do this? Thank you for reading and for the help!

Service manual here:

There's a mention only of replacing the entire display assembly - check with your supplier to find out if it's possible to replace just the panel (which is the part you've linked).  On many newer systems, the display assembly is fused together with adhesive, meaning it's difficult or impossible to replace just the display panel -- on many systems, you have to replace the entire upper half of the system.

Would it be possible to upgrade to a higher resolution screen e.g. 2K-4K or instial a touchscreen instead of the stock Full HD display? If so is there a trustworthy retailer, or what specs should be resected for compatibility?

The only screens this system shipped with are FHD maximum and non-touch.
