Dell Precision T3500 add/detect hardware

Question

I have recently imaged a lab of Dell Precision T3500 desktops. They are setup with Windows 7x64 Enterprise, have Intel Xeon W5550 processors, Nvidia Quadro 4000, and 6GB of RAM. Anytime the machines go through its power savings, screen saver followed by Monitor sleep, they begin to ding with Add/Detect hardware ding. Waking the monitors will cause this to stop. There are no devices connected to the monitors nor any new hardware being plugged in or even detected when the screen comes back on. Not sure what power setting may be causing this issue, other than the monitor sleep action.

If the monitor USB cable is attached to the PC, the operating system might be picking up the monitor USB ports as new hardware. To test this, disconnect the monitor USB cable from the PCs.

There are no USB cables running to the monitors. I even disconnected any USB or firewire device from the machine and was still getting the add/detect hardware ding.
