Any way to recognize Dell power supplies that aren't standard?

I have a fleeting memory that, several years ago, Dell power supplies used a different pinout than the standard ATX PSUs and hooking one up to another brand motherboard or using another PSU with a Dell equaled no joy.  I'm in the process of refurbishing some old Dells I have stored and wondered if someone could give me any pointers as to what machines the differing PSUs were in, what era they were, a way to recognize the oddballs, anything at all.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Specifically  200W PSU  DELL PART NUMBER 9228C

No Idea what the Small Form Factor part number so if it came from one of the models below its not useful and its not EPS12v so it has a 20 pin not 24 pin connector.

DPN 9228C Supports the following Dell models:

Dimension 4100, Dimension 4100, DT, Dimension 4100, MT, Dimension LXXXc MMT, Dimension V___, Dimension V___C, Dimension VXXX MDT, Dimension VXXX MT, Dimension XPS BXXXR MDT, Dimension XPS BXXXR MT, Dimension XPS R, Dimension XPS TXXX MDT, Dimension XPS TXXX MT, Optiplex E1 MT, OptiPlex G1, Optiplex G1(+) M, Optiplex G1(+) MT, Optiplex Gn M, Optiplex Gn MT, OptiPlex GX1, OptiPlex GX1 Large Tower, OptiPlex GX1 Low Profile Desktop, Optiplex GX1 M, OptiPlex GX1 Mid-Size Desktop, OptiPlex GX1 Ultra Small FF (Net PC), OptiPlex GX1 Ultra Small Form Factor, OptiPlex GX100, Optiplex GX100 MT, OptiPlex GX110, Optiplex GX110 M, Optiplex GX110 MT, OptiPlex GX110 (R2), OptiPlex GX110 (Socket processsor), OptiPlex GX115, OptiPlex GX1P, Optiplex GX1p M, Optiplex GX1p MT, OptiPlex GX200, Optiplex GX200 M, Optiplex GXA EM M, Optiplex GXA EM MT, Optiplex GXA M, Optiplex GXA MT

Dell has gone back to proprietary on the Optiplex X020 series aka 3020 9020 but they use tiny connectors so you cant mix it up with a standard supply.

I still have several 4100/GX1/GX100 units, but the ones I'm working on now are newer than that - black cases instead of beige.  I just couldn't remember how recently the oddball power supplies were used.  Thanks!

They went back to proprietary on the x020 aka 9020 3020 series.

Same for the new Precision Series.

But they use non standard connectors so you cant plug them into a standard board.

At least 90% of what I'm working on is GX150 to GX280 Optiplexes and a few Dimensions from the same XP era.

So the Vista & Win 7-era Optiplexes in the GX520 to 755 range and 320, 330 and the like are still standard ATX pinouts?

ATX is 20 pin EPS12V is 24 pin and specs more than 18Amps on the 12v side for 300W and up power supplies.  Corsair CS750M is recommended upgrade/replacement for these.  Unfortunately this has led to corsair being counterfeited.
