Random Non-Impacting Error After Downloading AMD Drivers!?
Every time I sweep all the AMD drivers off, (and double check to make sure they are gone) I download my new drivers, and the download goes smooth. However, at the end of the download, I receive: Download Successful but with some errors!
And it doesn't tell me what the heck the errors are. :/
I can still play games, and nothing seems to be happening. It bugs me that it even says that. lol
Also, I've been having a lot of troubles getting CFX to actually work during games; it seems every single game hates CFX. Dell tech came over and replaced the 6990's, and still same ol' problem with temps, and games performing below what my dual 6950's used to perform at; it's fairly frustrating!
Dell employee online told me to move the second GPU to the 3rd PCIe slot --but the tech that came over told me not to do it. (However, even if I did, I still have a soundcard in the third slot, and then I don't know what I'd do with that)
Any suggestions?! Thanks! :)

Uninstall the cards from Device Manager. Make sure you check the box to delete drivers. Delete the drivers from add/remove programs.Reboot and let windows install. Reboot again and install ATI drivers. Don't run the driver sweeper. Lets see what happens this way.
The CFX issue is because ATI needs to make profiles for the games. If they don't then the quad setup will have issues. Try turning off the CFX and playing the game on just one GPU.
You can run the card in the third slot but the bandwidth used buy those cards will max the 8x slot. You will drop a few FPS but it may also lower your temps. It's a trade off.

This is the error I received, and it's still happening. I'm not sure what it is, or how to fix my lagging problems, but, the Dell Corporate technicians are sending me two GTX 590's to see if they work better than my 6990's. (P.S. Dell customer support is excellent)

Ensure you have turned off your anti virus, otherwise you will get errors.

You obviously have a software problem. Possibly your Windows installation is corrupt or just a conflicting process or service like AAA737Flyer suggested.

Well, before you do that, assuming it is a windows installer thing, try running this from the command prompt running as administrator.
At the prompt type....
sfc/scannow

If I had to redownload all 24 games, patches, and other software, I would rip my own face off and eat it.

AAA737flyer, could you give me a bit more information on how to do this? I can be somewhat special with some of this stuff. :/ Thanks!

I'd also like to point out that every time I turn crossfire on or off, the first time I start up a game, it will freeze my computer and I'll have to hold in the power button to turn off the comp and restart it. (After that issue it doesn't happen again unless I turn it back on or vice versa)

You probably need to uninstall the CCC alyogether. including all folders referencing ATI. ATI technologies in program, programs 86, and the user folders.. It is also a good idea to delete the references to ATI and ATI technologies in the registry using regedit.
Then reinstall the CCC from your desktop (save program to desktop vs running the download)
As far as the sfc/scannow...
Go to accesssories-left click to open options
you will see command prompt in the list
right click on run as administrator
this opens up the dos command prompt.
at the command prompt carrot ">" type in sfc/scannow and hit enter
If there are windows integrity issues this will fix them if it can.
Sometimes you may see the result as files were found damaged and windows fixed them all. or you may see some integrity issues were found but could not be fixed. If you get the second result turn off the computer and restart and run i again.
