Internal Speakers on Alienware desktops

Hello. I am curious to know if Alienware desktops come with built-in internal speakers, so I can hear music, sound, etc. from the desktop itself (not just system warning beeps), without having to buy external speakers.

Thanks for any help.

No they certainly do not, nor does any quality desktop computer for that matter.

Only All in One machines and laptops come with built in speakers. Where did you get the idea that an Alienware Desktops had built in speakers? They do have a built in sound card, but not speakers. Some monitors also come with built in speakers. But never a desktop such as these.....

If your sound requirements are limited (and you don't want surround or a sub woofer or anything like that with your speaker system) ... some Dell monitors have a matching analog stereo Sound Bar that snaps-on rather nicely. They are only $10-$20 .

blue0301,

The Alienware OptX AW2210 and AW2310 monitors do not have the built-in DC power connector for Dell Soundbars nor do they have the built-in Dell Soundbar mounting brackets. They do have Audio Line-in and Audio Line-out jacks on the bottom. So you need to purchase a speaker system that has its own power adapter. The configuration would be -
PC Sound card speaker out jack to the monitor Audio Line-in, then monitor Audio Line-out to the external speakers.

Thank you to all who responded. Even without external speakers, I would still be able to get full sound through headphones I hope?
