We are officially less than two weeks away from heading to Paris for Dell Storage Forum and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m extra excited because personally, it is my first time to visit Paris and professionally, we are hosting the Fluid Forward Think Tank.
A Think Tank is a gathering of socially active folks to have a discussion that is not controlled but enabled by Dell. For the Fluid Forward Think Tank, our European-based industry influencers will come together to discuss hot topics, current trends, new challenges, and best practices in the storage industry.
We are thrilled to announce that Simon Robinson, Research Vice President of 451 Research will be moderating our Fluid Forward Think Tank. You can learn more about Simon’s role at 451 here. Simon will bring his experience of managing a team of storage analysts to the table by keeping the conversation fluid and engaging our influencers with one another.
The gang for the day includes folks from all over Europe who range from technical architects to VMUG founders. Confirmed attendees include:
- Fabio Rapposelli, @fabiorapposelli
- Andrew Mauro, @andrea_mauro
- Barry Coombs, @virtualisedreal
- Didier Van Hoye, @WorkingHardInIT
- Bruno Sousa, @bsousapt
- Rasmus Haslund, @haslund
- Charles Gillanders, @cgillanders
- Andreas Erson, @ersontech
- Tom Heskestad, @hypervfan
Don’t think just because you’re not in Paris, you won’t be able to participate in all of the Think Tank action. We will be live-streaming the event! Also, the entire event will be available OnDemand for those who are unable to play along as it happens.
Folks from everywhere are welcome and encouraged to join us virtually! Not only do we want you all to hear what is being said, but we want you to chime in with your thoughts via Twitter. Follow the Twitter stream during the event using the Think Tank hashtag #FluidForward. I have no doubt this crew will keep it the stream active and interesting.
Similar to our Fluid Forward Think Tank being held in conjunction with DSF Paris, we hosted a Customer Advisory Panel (CAP) day during Dell Storage Forum Boston in June. Check out the wrap-up and pictures from CAP day to get an idea of what you’ll see and hear in Paris.
I think I’ve spilled all you need to know about the DSF Paris Think Tank! Now, it’s your turn. JOIN US! J We’ll kick off at 9am Paris time – follow the stream on Twitter: #FluidForward.
Until then…au revoir.
