For those of you in the London area over the next few days, Dell has kicked off its Taxi Talk Tour with PC World, Britain’s largest specialist chain of computer superstores, offering an entertaining and educational experience around mobility and Dell’s Inspiron Mini netbooks.
Celebrities Gail Porter and Ortis Deley from the Gadget Show will put the “geek chic” knowledge of brave Londoners to the test in the backseat of the Dell Taxi. From May 1-3, questions will fly fast and furious between at PC World at 145 Tottenham Court Road, or as the taxi shuttles you to and from the PC World location around town.
Each Dell Taxi Tour will be an interactive experience, featuring the highly mobile Dell Inspiron Mini 10 as quiz master, as all the action is caught on video, and may be featured on the Dell YouTube channel and the Dell Taxi Tour Facebook group.
The Dell Taxi Tour is a great opportunity for technology fans to express themselves through mobile and social media technology by telling us what’s on their mind, whether they consider themselves a practical tech buyer, gadget guru, or fashionista.
So how does it work?
- People can join the quiz through Facebook or at the PC World on 145 Tottenham Court Road to enter the quiz and get a chance at winning a Dell Inspiron Mini 10.
- Those who have bought a Dell computer from any PC World store on or after the 21st of April, 2009 can sign up at the PC World Tottenham Court Road location or Dell Taxi Tour Facebook group to enter the quiz for a chance to win a full reimbursement of their Dell purchase.
- There will also be a competition for the best photo of the Dell Taxi on tour uploaded to the Dell Taxi Tour Facebook group, where the winner will win a Dell Inspiron Mini 10.
Come down to the Tottenham Court Road PC World this weekend and check it out.
