Globetrotting Telecom: Unveiling Connectivity’s Worldwide Potential

Do you have questions about open telecom networks? We’re bringing answers to your part of the world.

If you’re like me, reading a white paper about open, disaggregated networks is not always the best way to increase your knowledge. Nor is reading a blog, or listening to a lecture, or even watching a video. No, for me, the best way to learn – by far – is to sit down face-to-face with an expert and ask questions. Lots of questions. Yes, some seemingly silly questions, too. Some sort of fancy medium cannot replicate the real-time exchange of ideas that happens when people talk directly to each other – or at least not yet. With that in mind, Dell Technologies is embarking on a world tour to have in-person discussions with our customers about open, disaggregated networks and the benefits and challenges they bring to the telecom industry.

We’ll be exploring all facets of network disaggregation and sharing what our real-world experience has taught us. And we’ll be ready to discuss today’s most relevant industry topics candidly and enthusiastically. We can dive deep into how open networks offer greater flexibility and agility than traditional networks but are still evolving to offer comparable performance. We’ll also be ready to explore how open architectures enable telecoms to adopt, integrate and leverage the latest innovations at market speed and why the emerging open telecom ecosystem is so essential to the growth of open networks. Another area we’ll examine is the massive edge opportunity telecoms have with enterprise organizations and how critical open networks will be for telecoms to be successful. We don’t know everything – no one does – so just as you will be learning from us, we’ll be learning from you.

North America

Mobile World Congress, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Sept. 26-28

North America’s largest and most influential connectivity event. MWC Las Vegas, in partnership with CTIA, is the GSMA’s flagship event in North America, showcasing the hottest trends in connectivity and mobile innovation. This is where the ecosystem meets face-to-face to build strong relationships. And it’s where the telecom industry uses our collective knowledge to accelerate technology and drive human progress. This is where the mobile ecosystem, technology industry and vertical industries affected by connectivity, come to explore the themes that are shaping our world. Dell will have meeting rooms, participation in partner booths, including our OpenBrew solution in T-Mobile’s booth, and speaking sessions.

South America

Futurecom, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Oct. 3-5

Futurecom is the biggest content and relationship event in the connectivity universe in Latin America. We will have a booth and meeting rooms co-sponsored by NVIDIA, as well as a keynote and sessions covering our experience with early deployments of open telecom networks. Our demos will include our latest purpose-built telecom servers, Dell Telecom Infrastructure Blocks, Private Wireless and our oh-so-hard-to-resist OpenBrew demonstration that shows how we’re partnering with a craft brewery to leverage AI, edge and 5G in the never-ending pursuit of better beer.

Europe

FYUZ, Madrid, Spain, Oct. 9-11

Hosted by the Telecom Infrastructure Project, FYUZ covers all aspects of open and disaggregated networks for wireless, fixed wireless and satellite from access to transport to the core. In our booth, we will provide demonstrations of our RAN accelerator products, our purpose-built telecom servers and Dell Telecom Infrastructure Blocks. We will also have meeting rooms, be participating in keynotes and breakout sessions, and hosting an Open Telecom Ecosystem Community event on October 9 and the Dell Technologies open hour on October 10.

Middle East

GITEX, Dubai, UAE, Oct. 16-20

It doesn’t get any bigger than this. GITEX is the world’s largest tech event, gathering the world’s most advanced companies to elevate business, economy, society and culture through the power of innovation. In the Dell Technologies booth, we will have meeting rooms available, as well as a telecom-focused area with demos on Open RAN, Dell Telecom Infrastructure Blocks and PowerEdge Telecom servers and our Open Telecom Ecosystem Community. We will also be hosting the Meta Telecom Summit & White Glove Dinner on October 18 at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

Asia

India Mobile Congress, New Delhi, India, Oct. 27-29

One of Asia’s largest events and jointly organized by The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operator Association of India (COAI), India Mobile Congress is where the world leaders in connectivity connect. We will showcase demos of our latest 16G Dell PowerEdge servers, Dell Telecom Infrastructure Blocks, liquid immersion cooling and our Open Telecom Ecosystem Lab. We will participate in panel discussions and attendees can meet the Dell Technologies team in our booth.

We’re committed to open networks and believe the open telecom ecosystem is where communications service providers will find the latest technologies required for innovative new services and revenue streams. We hope you can make it to one of the shows and explore with us how open networks deliver value and how our portfolio of offerings can help. Bring your questions!

Are you a partner or an operator and going to be at one of the stops on our world tour? Set up a time to meet with us.
