There are only a few days left until this year’s Gartner Data Center conference in Las Vegas (December 5 –8) and I couldn’t be more excited. Operating at the center of transformation, the Gartner team has continued to deliver a better conference year after year. I look forward to another highly influential event that provides a sneak peek into the play book of some of the smartest minds and companies that will shape our digital future.
Similarly, as the market leader of Converged Platforms, every one of us at Dell is fueled by our passion to deliver on the transformation promise that our customers have come to expect. At Gartner Data Center the Converged Platforms and Solutions Division of Dell will be out in full force to demonstrate how our customers can modernize their data center through converged platforms and solutions to reduce IT complexity and drive business value—laying the foundation for the vast digital ecosystem and virtualized data center of the future.
We have an action packed agenda for the show with the highlight being Chad Sakac’s breakout session – To Buy or to Build – Understanding the Different Use Cases for Converged and Hyper-Converged, on Tuesday, December 6 from 3:45 – 4:30 p.m. This presentation will provide an understanding of the various choices and use cases available to businesses to modernize their infrastructure by leveraging converged and hyper-converged regardless of where they are in the build-buy continuum. Another not to be missed and popular session featuring our very own Chad Sakac will be the Vendor User Roundtable discussion – Are You Ready to Modernize Your Data Center? on Tuesday, December 6 from 11:15 – 12:00 p.m.
If you’re joining us in Las Vegas, be sure to visit us on the show floor, booth number 309, Hall C where you can check out our impressive portfolio and the scale and firepower of Dell including a wide range of our latest solutions including converged systems like the VxRail and VxRack, and hear directly from our customers on how they have partnered with Dell to drive IT transformation strategies which result in simplified IT operations, lower operational costs and reduced risk. Learn more by attending the Delivering the IT Tapestry of the Future session with Matt Baker of Strategy & Planning on December 5 from 3:00 – 3:45 p.m.
In keeping with our firm focus on customers and their feedback we will also host two events, an exclusive, influential Dell VIP Reception on Tuesday, December 6, 7 – 9 p.m. at the AquaKnox and a VCE User Group (VUG) dinner on Monday, December 5, 7-10 p.m. at the CarneVino Restaurant in The Palazzo. These meetings are a great opportunity for customers and prospects to interact with other customers, Gartner experts and the Converged Platforms and Solutions team members, in order to share best practices and learn what their peers are doing with converged platforms and solutions.
As always we will provide you with latest updates, developments and insight from the show and post-show commentary via Chad Sakac’s Virtual Geek blog posts and other subject matter experts’ blogs on Vblog. Our social media team will live tweet from the converged platforms and solutions sessions at the main booth and breakout sessions. Get real time updates with our designated live tweeters including @sakacc, @JayCuthrell, @youngP2, @Dell_CI and join the conversation at #Dell!
I’m tremendously excited about our presence at the show and believe that it will be an insightful and thought provoking look into how the Converged Platforms and Solutions Division can help you on your digital transformation journey to faster, more meaningful business outcomes.
Let the transformation begin!
