Removing the system cover
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
- Power off the system, including any attached peripherals.
- Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
Steps
- Use a 1/4 inch flat head or a Phillips #2 screwdriver to turn the lock counterclockwise to the unlock position.
- Open the release latch until the system cover slides back.
- Lift the cover from the system.
