Removing the rear drive cage
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
- Remove the drives.
- Remove the air shroud.
Steps
- Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, loosen the captive screws that secure the rear drive cage to the system.
- Slide the rear drive cage towards the front of the system to disengage it from the system.
- Remove the rear drive cage from the system.
