Removing the 4G WWAN card (Optional)
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
About this task
NOTE:The following steps are for computers with WWAN support.
The following image(s) indicate the location of the 4G WWAN card and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Lift the 4G WWAN-card shield off the 4G WWAN card.
- Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the 4G WWAN-card bracket to the 4G WWAN card.
- Lift the 4G WWAN-card bracket off the 4G WWAN card.
- Disconnect the antenna cables from the 4G WWAN card.
- Slide and remove the 4G WWAN card off the 4G WWAN-card slot on the system board.
