Installing the smart-card reader

Prerequisites
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the smart card reader and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align and place the smart-card reader on its slot on the palm-rest assembly.
- Replace the two screws (M2x2) that adheres the smart-card reader to the palm-rest assembly.
- Connect the smart-card cable to the connector on the USH board and close the latch.

- Install the assembly inner frame.
- Install the battery.
- Install the base cover.
- Install the SIM card.
