Removing the speakers
CAUTION:The information in this section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the nanoSIM card.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the wireless card.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the speakers and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.

Steps
- Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
- Remove the white antenna cable and speaker cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly and the assembly inner frame.
- Lift the right and left speakers, along with its cable, off the palm-rest assembly.
