This section lists the Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) system log messages.

PIM_INTERFACE: PIM disabled on interface :%s	INFORMATIONAL	Indicates that PIM is operationally disabled because it has been configured on a default VLAN.	No action is required.
PIM_PURGE_DELAY_START_TIMER : PIM detected multicast peer-routing timer start	INFORMATIONAL	Indicates that the timer for retaining the routes has started. During a VLT peer node failure, synced multicast routes that are received from the peer are retained during the duration of configured timer.	No action is required.
PIM_PURGE_DELAY_STOP_TIMER : PIM detected multicast peer-routing timer stop	INFORMATIONAL	Indicates that the timer has ended and that all stale multicast entries have been deleted.	No action is required.
PIM_ROUTE: IIF Mismatch For SRC: %s GRP: %s,Local IIF %s & Peer IIF %s for VRF: %s Occurred	INFORMATIONAL	Indicates that a route that was learned on the VLT nodes does not match the incoming interface.	Verify the PIM interface and VRF level configuration on both nodes.
