Removing the Thermal Sensor
NOTE: The thermal sensor
is an optional component and your computer may not ship with it.
- Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer.
- Remove the cover.
- Identify the thermal sensor connected to the system board.
- Disconnect the thermal sensor from the system board.
- Release the latch that secures the thermal sensor. In this
instance, the thermal sensor is connected to the hard drive.
