Procedure

1. Disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the system board.
2. Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board.
3. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
4. Peel off the tape that secures the keyboard cable to the system board.
5. Open the latches and disconnect the keyboard cable and the status-light board cable from the system board.
6. Open the latch and disconnect the touch-pad cable from the system board.
7. Open the latch and disconnect the hard-drive cable from the system board.

   

8. Remove the three screws (M2x3) that secure the system board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
9. Lift the system board off the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
