LLDP-MED

Network connectivity devices and endpoint devices exchange LLDP-MED TLVs for interoperability and store advertised information.

OS supports the following LLDP-MED TLVs:

LLDP-MED capabilities
Network policy
Inventory management
Location identification
Extended power via MDI

NOTE LLDP-MED is designed for but not limited to VoIP endpoints.
