Removing the cooling fan blank
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
Steps
- Press the release tabs and push the fan blank out to disengage it from the fan cage.
- Lift the fan blank out of the
fan cage.

- If applicable, replace the cooling fan blank or install the cooling fan.
