Update .NET Framework
Prerequisites
About this task
If your PCs are running Windows 8.1 or later, .NET framework is automatically updated to the latest version. If your PCs are running Windows 7, .NET Framework is not automatically updated to the latest version, and Data Assistant prompts you to update .NET Framework.
Steps
- Open Data Assistant on the old PC. If you do not have Data Assistant, download it from www.dell.com/DataAssistant.
- If the old PC does not contain .NET Framework, Microsoft .NET Framework dialog box is displayed.
- Select I have read and accept the license terms, and click Install.
- After the installation is completed, click Finish.
