Removing the base cover
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- To remove the base cover:
- Loosen the M2.5x5 captive screws that secure the base cover to the computer [1].
- Pry the base cover from the edge near the air vent [2].NOTEYou may need a plastic scribe to pry the recess, starting from the top edge of the base cove.
- Lift the base cover away from the computer .
