Removing the base cover
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.

- Remove the five (M2.5x6) and three (M2.5x8) captive screws that secure the base cover to the computer.
- Pry the base cover starting from the right hinge and work your way around.
- Lift the base cover away from the computer.
