Removing the DC-in port

Prerequisites

Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
Remove the microSD card.
Remove the base cover.
Remove the battery.

Steps

Remove the two (M2x5) screws that secure the Type-C bracket to the system board [1].
Lift the Type-C bracket away from the computer [2].
Press the DC-in port cable and then pull the cable horizontally to disconnect the DC-in port cable from the connector on the system board [1]. Lift the DC-in port away from the computer [2].
