Installing the battery

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps

Place the battery on the palmrest and keyboard assembly and align the screw holes on the battery with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
Replace the four (M2x3) captive screws that secure the battery to the laptop.
Connect the battery cable to the system board.
