Shutting down one
storage controller
causes the
Storage Center
to fail over to the other
storage controller
. which continues to process I/O.
Steps
Use the
Dell
Storage Manager Client
to connect to the
Storage Center
.
Click the
Hardware
tab.
In the
Hardware
tab navigation pane, select the
storage controller
to shut down.
In the right pane, click
Shut Down/Restart Controller
.
The
Shut Down/Restart Controller
dialog box opens.
Select
Shut Down Controller
from the drop-down menu.
Click
OK
.
The selected
storage controller
is shut down.
