Cisco Jabber Softphone for VDI limitations on VMware
- If the Blast session is disconnect, the JVDI cannot register. Workaround is to log off Blast session and sign out Horizon.
- Video is not displayed at times during video call. Workaround is to turn off and turn on the camera.
- When the VDI desktop is minimized, occasionally the video screen on Jabber remains on the ThinOS desktop.
- If the VDI desktop is in window mode, the position of the video screen on Jabber is offset.
- Video calls in 4k resolution using 4k monitors have performance issues.
- If you use a large mouse pointer size during Blast session, the mouse hides automatically when playing a video during video calls.
- If you use several Unified Communications (UC) simultaneously, there can be unexpected errors.
