Dell Wyse 3040 Thin Client User Guide
Printed Circuit Board Assembly removal
To remove
the Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA ) from the device, do the
following:
- Remove the:
- Chassis cover.
- WLAN card— Skip this step, if your device is without WLAN card. Remove WLAN cables only if module do not need to service/replace.
- Remove the two screws from PCBA.
- Lift the motherboard from the back panel side gently and slide back
to clear front I/O from enclosure.

NOTE:
- For reassembly, check if the thermal pad is detached from the bottom case.
If yes, reattach the thermal pad on bottom case.
Reassemble PCBA in reverse order.
