Set up VMware vSAN licenses for VxRail
Apply VMware vSAN licenses for your VxRail clusters. You do not need a VMware vSAN license when using satellite nodes or dynamic node clusters.
You can obtain VMware vSAN licenses in one of two ways:
- By leveraging existing available VMware vSAN licenses from existing ELAs
- By acquiring new VMware vSAN licenses directly from Dell Technologies.
Work with your sales representative to ensure that you have the correct type and quantity of VMware vSAN licenses for your environment.
