External storage
Although each VxRail includes its own on-board storage resources, you can also use your appliance with external storage. Your VxRail supports NFS datastores and VMFS datastores over iSCSI. Using external storage doesn't affect VxRail features such as upgrades, reset, cluster shutdown and so on.
