Prepare for VMware vSphere+ subscription licensing
This section is only relevant if your VMware licensing is going to be subscription-based and require connectivity to the VMware cloud for these services.
For subscription-based VMware licenses, then the VMware vCenter Server instance supporting your VxRail cluster requires connectivity to the VMware Cloud through the VMware vCenter Cloud Gateway. If you plan to deploy VxRail using single-stack IPv6 networking, contact VMware Support for support for IPv6 connectivity for VMware Cloud Gateway.
See
VMware vSphere+ Documentation for information about the deployment and administration of the VMware vCenter Cloud Gateway virtual appliance.
