Dell PowerFlex Appliance with PowerFlex 4.x Administration Guide

Secure component verification and TPM enablement on the PowerFlex nodes

The secure component verification tool ensures that the server hardware has not been changed (a component moved or replaced) between leaving the Dell factory and arriving at the customer site. If any changes are made to the node, the secure component verification tool will report the difference.

Secure component verification is an optional feature, and TPM is enabled at the factory on the nodes. The following nodes are supported:

  • PowerFlex R650 nodes
  • PowerFlex R750 nodes
  • PowerFlex R6525 nodes
  • PowerFlex R7525 nodes
  • PowerFlex R660 nodes
  • PowerFlex R760 nodes
  • PowerFlex R6625 nodes
  • PowerFlex R7625 nodes

The secure component verification license will be tagged with the service tag of the node, and it will be uploaded at the iDRAC from the factory.
