Retrieve SDNAS audit logs

Audit logs are enabled by default after the SDNAS deployment. The logs can be retrieved locally from the SDNAS gateway on the MVM node.

Steps

  1. To verify which MVM node the SDNAS gateway is residing:
    # kubectl get pods -A -o wide | grep -i sdnas
  2. Log in
    # cd /opt/platform-provisioner
    # cd $(ls | grep rsyslog)
    # cd powerflex/sdnasgw/sdnasgw/$SDNASGW_POD name
    # ls
    The log file name sdnasgw.stdout.log.<date>.
  3. The logs can also be viewed in PowerFlex Manager. Click Monitoring > Events and use the Filter to select the subsystem to view events in PowerFlex Manager.
