Create static routes

Networking between all participating SDRs is required. Creating static routes may be required.

Steps

  1. SSH to the PowerFlex storage-only node.
  2. Type cd /etc/sysconfig/network
  3. Edit the routes file in this directory.
  4. Create static routes by using the ip route add command.
    1. For flex-rep1 type:

      ip route add [target_subnet_replication_network1] via [source_gw_flex-rep1] dev bond0.161

      For example:

      ip route add 172.16.3.0/26 via 172.16.1.1 dev bond0.161

    2. For flex-rep2 type:

      ip route add [target_subnet_replication_network2] via [source_gw_flex-rep2] dev bond0.162

      For example:

      ip route add 172.16.4.0/26 via 172.16.2.1 dev bond1.162

  5. Edit the dhcp file in this directory, changing the DHCLIENT_SET_DEFAULT_ROUTE parameter from yes to no.
  6. Reboot the node.
