Verify the network configuration
Use this procedure to verify configuration before adding a VLAN to the network.
Steps

Verify that the virtual port channel (vPC) / virtual link tunneling (VLT) is available between the access switches:
- For Cisco Nexus switches, type show vpc brief.
- For Dell PowerSwitch switches, type show vlt brief.
- To verify the port channel between servers, hosts, and access switches are configured, type show port-channel summary.
- To verify the port channel between customer network switches and access switches are configured, type show port-channel summary.
- To verify that the VLAN is created and enabled on the port channel between the network switches and the access switches, type show vlan.
- To verify that SVI is configured on the network switches, type show ip int brief.
- To verify that you have the VLAN IP address, mask, and gateway to verify the VLAN configuration, type show vlans.
