View Usage Limits

Use the procedure in this topic to view the PowerMax/VMAX usage limits.

Prerequisites

  • A PowerMax/VMAX storage system must be registered.
  • To set limits to a user/group, the user/group must be granted access to the registered PowerMax/VMAX storage system.

Steps

  1. Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
  2. Click Menu > Dell VSI.
  3. Click Storage Access on the left side.
    The Storage Access page is displayed. It displays the list of all users/groups that have access to the Dell storage systems.
  4. To view the existing usage limits for vCenter users or groups, select a user/group from the list displayed.
  5. Select the PowerMax/VMAX Usage tab to display the usage limits for the selected user/group.
    The limits and usage for all the PowerMax storage system the user/group has access to is displayed.
