View NFS Datastore Details for PowerMax

Use the procedure in this topic to view the details of a NFS datastore for PowerMax storage system.

Steps

  1. Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
  2. Click Menu > Storage.
  3. Select a NFS datastore, click Configure > Dell VSI > Storage.
    The Storage Details tab displays details of the selected datastore.
  4. In the General panel, you can see the datastore details.
    The datastore details displayed are:
    • System
    • System Model
    • File System Name
    • File System Id
    • Type
    • Health Status
    • Protocol
    • NAS Server
    • NFS Export
    • Host IO Size
  5. In the Storage Resource panel, you can view the following:
    • Storage Resource Pool
    • Service Level
  6. In the Thresholds panel, you can view the following:
    • Informational Threshold %
    • High Threshold %
    • Warning Threshold %
  7. In the Data Reduction panel, you can view if data reduction is enabled or disabled.
  8. In the NFS Event Publishing panel, you can view if the NFS event publishing is enabled or disabled.
  9. In the Capacity panel, you can view the allocated capacity in the capacity bar.
    You can also view the following:
    • Total Capacity
    • Available Capacity
    • Used Capacity
